    NATURAL TIPS FOR NOSE BLEED

Nosebleed, also known as Epistaxis, is a common ailment that is found in children and adults alike. The delicate lining of the nose contains various tiny blood vessels which can rupture easily and result into nosebleed. Nose bleeding often is not very serious, but it can be embarrassing and annoying, which can be handled fairly and easily at home with simple first aid measures. Repeated nose bleeding is harmful and should be given immediate attention. Though a not-so-serious situation, it can be life threatening at times, especially in case of older people.

    Types of Nosebleeds

They are divided into two types: The anterior nosebleeds (front of the nose) Posterior nosebleeds (back of the nose).
The most common kind of nosebleed is an anterior nosebleed, which comes from the front of the nose. Capillaries, or very small blood vessels, inside the nose may break and bleed, causing this type of nosebleed. The most common cause of anterior nosebleeds is dry air. A dry and cold climate or heated indoor air irritates and dries out nasal membranes, causing crusts that may itch and then bleed when scratched or picked.
A posterior nosebleed comes from the deepest part of the nose. Blood flows down the back of the throat even if the person is sitting or standing. Kids rarely have posterior nosebleeds, which occur more often in older adults, those with high blood pressure, and people who have had nose or face injuries.
